Short on what Dwan Smith's One Woman show is all about.

 
Dwan, is a 20-year veteran of stage, screen and television, former beauty queen, entrepreneur, Christian, wife and mother, who says that her career highlights read like a "fairytale." She began her professional career acting in commercials and has done over 100 national spots for television and radio, earning her the nickname, "Black Queen of TV Commercials." 

Her film credits include starring as Delores in the cult favorite "SPARKLE, feature roles in "House Party IV,"The Laundromat" and 'Brothers." No stranger to television, Dwan starred in "Joe Forrester," with veteran actor Lloyd Bridges.
 
Dwan was a regular on ABC TV's popular Soap, General Hospital for three years, as the outspoken Dr. Irma Foster, Head of the Hospital's Psychiatric department.

, producer, Barbara Perkins, immediately tagged her as one of her Co-Hosts for the popular "Sisters At The Well," Radio show on LATALK LIVE .

 This assignment  also led to Dwan being selected to Host and interview Dignitaries and Celebrities On The Red Carpet for the Awards show later that year.

With little time to catch her breath, Dwan accepted the role Producer Paulaura Hawkins offered her as the wacky, Jamaican "Mother Doreen," in her gospel play, "She Who Finds A Husband.," allowing Dwan to delight audiences with her comedic skills.
